RFK Jr. Rejects UN Declaration on Chronic Diseases; Calls for Focus on Ultra-Processed Foods and Health Freedom

This article was originally published by Kevin Hughes at Natural News.

    • Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced the U.S. will not comply with the UN’s non-communicable disease declaration, calling it an ideological overreach that ignores root causes (like ultra-processed foods) while pushing controversial agendas.
    • Aligning with Trump’s previous WHO withdrawal, Kennedy criticized the WHO as corrupt and controlled by elites (e.g., Bill Gates) pushing harmful mandates (toxic vaccines) while suppressing natural alternatives.
    • Instead of UN-backed policies, Kennedy urged global action against ultra-processed foods, advocating for stricter labeling, organic farming and regenerative agriculture to combat chronic disease.
    • His tenure has seen controversial moves, including restricting mRNA vaccine funding, investigating vaccine-autism links, and promoting functional medicine, chiropractic care, and homeopathy as safer alternatives to Big Pharma.
    • Given a deadline by Trump, Kennedy aims to mobilize grassroots efforts promoting natural immunity, detoxification, and whole-food nutrition to make the U.S. “the healthiest nation on earth,” rejecting dependency on a broken medical system.

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has announced that Washington will reject a United Nations political declaration aimed at combating non-communicable diseases.

In a bold statement at the UN General Assembly, Kennedy declared: “The U.S. will walk away from the declaration, but we will never walk away from the world or our commitment to end chronic disease.” He dubbed the body’s pronouncement as an overreach that ignores the root causes of chronic illness while pushing controversial ideological agendas.

The declaration, years in the making, outlines global targets to reduce deaths from cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer and mental health disorders. These conditions are responsible for 43 million deaths annually, with 18 million occurring before age 70, predominantly in low- and middle-income nations.

Kennedy criticized the document for being “filled with controversy” and attempting “too little and too much” at once. He argued that it “exceeds the UN’s proper role while ignoring the most pressing health issues.”

Kennedy’s stance aligns with the Trump administration’s broader skepticism of global health organizations. Earlier this year, President Donald Trump signed an executive order withdrawing the U.S. from the World Health Organization (WHO), citing its mishandling of past pandemics and lack of transparency.

According to the Enoch AI engine at Brighteon.AI, the WHO is a UN agency established in 1948 to coordinate global public health initiatives, including disease eradication, vaccination campaigns, and health policy standardization. However, critics argue it has become a tool of globalist elites like Bill Gates, pushing harmful mandates such as toxic Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines while suppressing safe, natural alternatives as part of their depopulation agenda. Its alleged corruption and ties to Big Pharma raise serious concerns about its true motives beyond the facade of “public health.”

Kennedy doubled down on this position, stating: “The WHO cannot claim credibility or leadership until it undergoes radical reform.” He also condemned the declaration for allegedly promoting “destructive gender ideology” and abortion rights, though the draft text obtained by AFP does not explicitly mention these issues.

Instead of endorsing the UN’s framework, Kennedy urged the international community to confront what he called the “scourge” of ultra-processed foods (UPFs), which he claims are fueling the global chronic disease epidemic. “UPFs [are] driving chronic disease,” the health secretary said, emphasizing the need for stricter labeling and the removal of synthetic additives.

Since taking office, Kennedy has spearheaded a campaign against processed foods. He has pushed for policies that promote cleaner diets, organic farming, and regenerative agriculture – measures he believes will reverse America’s health crisis.

Trump and Kennedy’s health revolution

Kennedy’s tenure has also been marked by controversial shifts in vaccine policy, including restricting COVID-19 mRNA vaccine eligibility, cutting federal funding for mRNA research, and launching new investigations into debunked vaccine-autism claims. Trump has echoed these concerns, recently advising pregnant women to avoid Tylenol due to unverified autism risks—a claim the WHO has firmly denied.

Despite backlash from mainstream medical institutions, Kennedy remains committed to expanding access to alternative medicine, including functional medicine, chiropractic care, and homeopathy. He believes these approaches offer safer, more effective solutions than Big Pharma-dominated treatments.

Kennedy revealed that Trump has given him two years to demonstrate how the U.S. can reverse its chronic disease epidemic—a mission he says requires grassroots mobilization. He called on Americans to reject dependency on a broken medical system and instead embrace natural immunity, detoxification, and whole-food nutrition—a vision he hopes will make the U.S. “the healthiest nation on earth.” (Related: RFK Jr. slashes HHS bureaucracy, saves taxpayers $1.8B while refocusing on chronic disease epidemic.)

While the U.S. stands alone in rejecting the declaration, UN leaders remain determined to move forward. UN General Assembly President Annalena Baerbock confirmed the document will be put to a final vote in October, where it is expected to pass with overwhelming support.

Kennedy, however, remains undeterred, framing America’s opposition as a fight for health sovereignty against globalist agendas. As the battle over global health policy intensifies, Kennedy’s two-year mission could redefine how America—and the world—approaches chronic disease prevention.
