Woman Shoots And Kills Home Invader With .44 Magnum After He Stabbed Her Husband

WASILLA, ALASKA — A 22-year-old man from Houston, identified as Justice Beaudoin-Martinez, was fatally shot during a burglary at a residence on Sunday. Alaska State Troopers, who were alerted to the home invasion at 9 a.m., found Beaudoin-Martinez with a gunshot wound. Despite medics’ efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The incident unfolded when the homeowners encountered Beaudoin-Martinez inside their house, leading to a physical struggle. During the altercation, the male homeowner was stabbed in the arm. In response, the female homeowner shot Beaudoin-Martinez with a .44 Magnum revolver, an act deemed as self-defense. The husband received medical treatment for his non-fatal injury.

Troopers found some of the homeowners’ possessions in Beaudoin-Martinez’s backpack. The investigation concluded the shooting was in self-defense, and no charges are being pursued. Beaudoin-Martinez’s family has been informed of the incident.
