OREM, UT (2-minute read) — Conservative activist Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was shot Wednesday during a scheduled appearance at Utah Valley University in Orem. His spokesperson confirmed the incident, stating, “Charlie Kirk has been shot at Utah Valley University. Condition unknown.”
Kirk had been in Utah as part of his American Comeback Tour, which also included a planned stop at Utah State University later this month. His events have regularly drawn both large crowds of supporters and vocal opposition from student groups who disagree with his views.
