The frame features a Performance Center extended cylinder release for quicker reloads, along with a power ported barrel to help mitigate recoil.
In a first for the Spec Series, the revolver ships optics-ready, pre-installed with an Aimpoint Acro P2 red dot, mounted via Smith & Wesson’s proprietary optic plate. For users preferring irons, it also includes a backup rear sight.
