In situations where self-defense is claimed, it is crucial for law enforcement to thoroughly investigate all aspects to ensure the actions were justified. This process often involves gathering witness statements, reviewing any available video footage, and conducting forensic analysis. Such diligence ensures that justice is served, whether by affirming the self-defense claim or by identifying any potential criminal activity.

The Mobile Police Department is urging anyone with information that could assist in the investigation to come forward. They can be reached at 251-208-7211. Additionally, anonymous tips can be submitted online or via the anonymous tip line at 844-251-0644.
