Paste Faster, Not Harder: My Review of the Paster Pooper Paster Gun

Paste Faster, Not Harder: My Review of the Paster Pooper Paster Gun

When you’re running drills on the range, every minute counts—and so does every dollar. I’d been looking into ways to save some time taping up targets between strings (and even roped my 9-year-old into helping this summer, child labor is free!) when I came across the Toa Target Paster, also sold under the CED Target Paster brand. It looked solid, but the price tag—around $100—was higher than I expected. Instead of pulling the trigger on one of those, I went looking for another option.

That’s when I found the Paster Pooper.

What Is It?

The Paster Pooper is a simple, 3D-printed paster gun that lets you manually advance target tape with your finger. It’s not electric, not spring-loaded—just a clean, straightforward design made by what I’m assuming is a guy with a printer and a great idea.

The housing snaps open easily to load a roll of stickers. There’s even a small window so you can rewind the tape if needed. You don’t drag this thing across the target or it’ll pull the tape out too far, so it takes a little finesse. Once you get the hang of it, though, it’s faster and more convenient than peeling off stickers one by one.

What Did It Cost?

I picked up the Paster Pooper and a roll of 1,000 stickers for $41.80 from wrektek.com. That’s less than half of what some of the bigger-name tools go for, and honestly, it works just fine for what I need.

I’m not affiliated with WrekTek, and this isn’t a sponsored review—I just happened to come across their site, placed an order, and figured I’d share that it actually works pretty well.

Final Thoughts

It’s not a flawless tool, but it’s a clever one. With a little practice, it speeds up the pasting process, cuts down on the hassle, and saves you some money—especially if you’re burning through a lot of targets during training.

If you’re looking for a low-cost, no-frills solution that gets the job done, the Paster Pooper is worth a look.
