Ruger and Magpul have teamed up to create the Ruger RXM 9mm pistol, a modular handgun built for customization and precision. Combining Ruger’s expertise in firearm manufacturing and Magpul’s accessory innovation, the RXM stands out in the crowded striker-fired pistol market.

Key Features of the Ruger RXM

At the core of the Ruger RXM is its modular design, highlighted by the removable stainless steel Fire Control Insert (FCI) encased within the Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip (EHG). This setup allows users to swap grip frames, offering great adaptability. Future grip frame options from Magpul promise even more customization possibilities.

The RXM’s ergonomic design includes Magpul’s 3/4-scale TSP textured grip, a flared magwell for smooth reloads, and a precision undercut trigger guard. Additionally, the Ruger RXM is compatible with various Glock Gen 3 aftermarket parts, holsters, and accessories, expanding its functionality.

Precision and Practicality

The RXM’s optic-ready slide accommodates RMR, Delta Point Pro (DPP), and RMSc pattern optics, with steel co-witness sights featuring a tritium front insert for enhanced visibility. Its rifled barrel and durable black FNC nitride finish ensure reliable accuracy and longevity.

This pistol is designed for practicality, offering a flat-faced trigger for a clean pull and an accessory rail for mounting lights or lasers. Available in two configurations—15+1 and 10+1 capacities—the RXM meets various user needs while staying compliant in capacity-restricted states.

Affordable and Feature-Rich

Priced at an MSRP of $499, the Ruger RXM includes two Magpul GL9 magazines, making it a competitive option for shooters seeking high-quality, customizable firearms. Ruger CEO Chris Killoy and Magpul VP Duane Liptak emphasize the collaboration’s success in delivering superior features, ergonomics, and value.

Safety Tip: Always test any firearm modifications or aftermarket accessories at a range to ensure safety and reliability. Improperly installed parts can lead to malfunctions.
