The bravery of those bystanders likely saved lives, as the situation could have taken a deadly turn in mere seconds. Their quick action underscores the importance of being alert in public spaces, particularly when situations escalate suddenly. Just days after this tense event in December 2022, authorities were dispatched to Rush’s home for a welfare check. Upon arrival, they discovered Rush deceased.
