The WOT is no more…

The WOT is no more…

All good things come to an end.

The Weekend Open Thread started as a way to share each weekend’s knife shows. I would toss in a meme because I needed the image. Then WuFlu hit, and there were no shows, but we had a community that I didn’t want to lose, so it became a meme and knife giveaway. Then Shows came back, and it morphed into the format that we had for about 5 years.

Apparently, after 5 years with no particular issues or complaints, someone humorless wokescold called Mark and complained about the memes being too political. I was told to knock it off. So we are retiring the Weekend Open Thread.

I will be posting the weekend’s knife shows to the newsfeed each Friday from here on out.

There will be a contest(s) to give away our remaining prize knives, so stay tuned.

I hope you all continue to comment on other posts and not let this community fade away.

I am sorry that this had to happen.

I guess we can’t have nice things.
