Do you like the Elementum? What about slipjoints? One of Civivi’s first orders of business in 2025 is to release the Elementum Slipjoint, which combines the company’s eternally popular flagship with the beloved non-locking format.
The original Elementum isn’t that old – it’s turning five this year – but it is already the patriarch of an extensive family tree, with many variant models. Bigger versions, smaller versions, a fixed blade, even a model set up like a standard issue utility knife.
It is a good, general purpose, and totally vanilla knife. I like the original, non-flipping button lock best. Really a true gravity knife. I have 3 or 4 others as well. Will probably grab one of these as well.
