With EDC knives, there’s something to be said for the phrase, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Certain handle and blade shapes work exceptionally well together, even if they’re not groundbreaking.
But having a more common silhouette doesn’t necessarily mean a knife is mundane, as We Knife’s Sylox is here to prove. Instead of relying on gimmicks, this knife takes a classic approach and kicks it into high gear with a swath of exceptional materials and mechanisms.
I honestly don’t remember looking at this one at SHOT. It is pretty far from anything I would find messes with my personal style, but YMMV.
