Kershaw’s Ken Onion-designed Leek is one of the most iconic and beloved pocket knives ever. It’s such an important design that I’ve been known to suggest that every EDC fan should own at least one.
One of the best things about the Leek is that there’s a version for everyone — everything from budget-friendly basic options to ultra-high-end opulent redesigns. While I’ve been privy to many, I’m also the first to admit when I drop the ball.
I love the Leek. One of my favorite EDC knives. I remember writing about the resurrection of Shinola back at TTAK many years ago. It is nice to see a USA made knife that they are involved with. I beleieve that Shinola was originally a Detroit company, so the Petosky stone handle is a local touch. I have a couple I gathered when I stayed at a friend’s cottage on Lake Michigan one summer.
