Forbes: The Best Pocket Knife Brands You Should Know

I’ve spent years testing and reviewing pocket knives, evaluating blades from new names and classic brands alike. But even with all that experience, I still can’t keep up with the endless sea of options out there. Sure, I could rattle off a handful of well-known knife makers, but there’s a whole world of lesser-known brands just waiting to be discovered. That’s why I put together this guide to introduce you to the best pocket knife brands, from the big players you know to the smaller ones you don’t, all of which create blades that deserve a spot in your pocket.

From labels that have been around for decades (or even centuries) to upstarts just finding their footing, here’s a complete guide to the best pocket knife brands, and the top knife models you should know from each one.

Nothing earthshaking here. I just like anything that normalizes EDC to a broader audience than the choir I am preaching to. I find it funny that I own every knife shown except for a James Brand and a Sebenza.  I don’t have much interest in the former, and I have plenty of nice titanium framelocks like my DPx HEST, which I consider “the poor man’s Sebenza”.
