Buck Knives mourns passing of Lori Buck

Mrs. Lori Buck, wife of the late Chuck Buck, has passed away.

Below is the letter from the Buck Collector’s Club, which contains the press release from Buck Knives.

April 10, 2024

It is with deep regret and sadness that we are announcing the death of Mrs. Lori Buck. Mrs. Buck passed away last week at her home in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Lori was a life member and great supporter of our Club. She was gracious and always was up to a challenge. She helped us with many BCCI functions in San Diego, Post Falls and at the Blade Show.

Next week there will be a memorial held for the Buck Knife employees at the plant next week. Mrs. Buck will be interred in San Diego in a private family ceremony the following week in San Diego. The family is finalizing plans for a celebration of life and will make a formal announcement with details at a later date.

Lori Buck: “God has been gracious to our company and our family throughout the years and I give God the glory.”.

We have been requested to direct condolences (cards) for the family members be sent to them to them at Buck Knives. (Family Member) c/o Buck Knives 660 S Lochsa St, Post Falls, ID 83854.

From Buck Knives:

In Memory of Lori Buck

Loraine Joann “Lori” Buck, aged 82, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday April 1st, 2024.

Lori was welcomed into this world on February 26, 1942 by parents Raymond and Jean Owen in Flagstaff AZ. Following a stint in Canyonville Oregon, the family relocated to San Diego Ca in 1957. Lori soon met and fell in love with Charles T. “Chuck” Buck, and the two were married December 26th 1958.

She enjoyed being a consummate hostess, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; playing games, baking, decorating cookies, reading, and writing, as well as sharing the many memories made during travels with Chuck. The couple spent summers driving throughout the country to share their life testimony at church speaking engagements, interspersed with occasional promotional events for the family business, Buck Knives Inc.

Lori touched the lives of many people with compassion and grace. While we celebrate her undoubtedly warm reception in heaven, she will be missed by those of us on earth.
Our family appreciates the love and prayers shared over the last few months, and since her passing.

She is survived by her sister Dori; two children: CJ with his wife Heidi, and Maralee with her husband Joe; seven grandchildren: Sarah, Brittany, Josh, Rachel, Aaron, Reese, and Andy; 12 great grandchildren: Arionna, Tandrup, Charlotte, Vera, Billy, Vanna, Wyatt, Evie, Teddy, Alayna, Amelia, Walter, and Clara.
