Buck Knives Celebrates the 60th Anniversary of the Iconic 110 Folding Hunter with Exclusive Anniversary Edition

POST FALLS, ID— Buck Knives, Inc., a widely-recognized global leader in the hunting, outdoor, and everyday carry (EDC) knife markets, is proudly recognizing that the company’s iconic 110 Folding Hunter knife has been available for 60 years. A great milestone–and a great knife choice for hunters and EDC knife carriers everywhere.
In 1964, the newly opened Buck Knives factory, located in San Diego, California, began full production of the 110 Folding Hunter knife after prototype testing. The 110 Folding Hunter was designed to meet the requests of hunters who wanted a sturdy knife that could be folded and placed into a pack or a sheath worn on the belt. The 110 did not disappoint and revolutionized the industry as one of the first folding knife with a lockback mechanism.
Today, the Post Falls, Idaho manufacturer offers multiple variations of the 110, which can be viewed here: https://www.buckknives.com/collections/the-110-folding-hunter-knife-family/ .
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the 110, Buck Knives has released a limited run of only 2,000 60th Anniversary Edition 110 Folding Hunters. This exclusive knife is made of MagnaCut steel with the traditional brass and ebony handle. A 60th anniversary logo is etched on the blade and a 60th anniversary medallion is on the handle. The blade markings have been swapped to replicate the placement on the first version of the 110, built in 1964. This special rendition includes a black leather sheath with brown stitching and a bronze snap. Only 1,000 of these knives will be available at buckknives.com, and 1,000 more will be available at select, authorized Buck Knives dealers across the United States. Get your historic 110 at www.buckknives.com or at a Buck Knives dealer before they are sold out!
