Will Primos Invitational Bring Conservation and Sporting Traditions Together

Premier Event at Omni Homestead Resort in Virginia July 18-19 to Raise Funds for Conservation

(June 12, 2025)  – Washington, D.C.   – Join in the fight for conservation while experiencing the thrill of world-class sporting clays with the renowned Will Primos at the Will Primos Invitational, a premier conservation and sporting event, taking place July 18-19 at the historic Omni Homestead Resort & Spa in Hot Springs, Virginia. This two-day event promises to combine world-class shooting experiences with a commitment to conservation, all hosted by Will Primos, founder of PRIMOS Hunting. From sporting clays competition to fabulous food and company, the Invitational is a unique event that won’t be repeated. Spots are limited; register today at Omni Homestead.

“The Will Primos Invitational is more than just a sporting event—it’s a celebration of the outdoor traditions we all cherish and a chance to make a real difference for conservation,” said Will Primos. “I look forward to welcoming fellow sportsmen and women in joining me for two days of camaraderie, competition, and commitment to upholding the landscapes and wildlife we love.”

This unique, one-of-a-kind experience offers attendees to experience the best in sporting clays amidst the scenic backdrop of the Omni Homestead Resort. The itinerary includes open shooting, competitive clay games with top prizes, bourbon tastings, and unforgettable opportunities to build meaningful connections with Will Primos and other conservation supporters. Register today as singles or couples at Omni Homestead-Will Primos Invitational.

“The Will Primos Invitational is a unique collaboration born from like-minded sportsmen and women who are passionate about conservation,” said Jeff Crane, President & CEO of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation. “We are appreciative of Will’s personal dedication to spreading awareness about what all hunters, anglers, shooters, and trappers do for conservation. This Invitational is a great opportunity to talk to Will personally and maybe even get a chance to beat him at a sport he loves – sporting clays.”

The Primos Purdey Auction and Conservation Campaign

Primos’s connection to this event is through the recently announced “The Truth About Conservation,” a groundbreaking public awareness campaign and firearm auction headlined by five Purdey hammer shotguns from Primos’ collection. This initiative will raise critical funds for conservation efforts through the sale of the collection – a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The exceptionally rare and unique firearms, including .410, 28, 20, 16, and 12-gauge sequentially serial-numbered shotguns, are from Primos’ personal collection.

Funds raised will go directly to supporting science-based habitat management and advancing the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation. The effort not only benefits hunters and anglers but also ensures healthy landscapes, abundant wildlife, and sustainability for future generations.

“It dawned on me one day how important habitat is to everything we value in the outdoors,” shared Primos. “I wanted to give back in a way that would make a lasting impact. That’s when I realized the true purpose of this gun collection – it’s about doing great work for conservation.”

Proceeds from the auction, scheduled for December 5-7 through Rock Island Auction, will benefit five leading conservation organizations dedicated to supporting habitat management and wildlife conservation. Recipients include the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever.
