U.S. Patriot Honored with 2025 Exchange Vendor of the Year Award for Services from AAFES

Veteran-led retailer recognized for innovation, dedication, and service to the military community at annual Exchange Managers Conference.

Lexington, KY (May 2025) – U.S. Patriot, a GALLS® company and the nation’s largest supplier of military and related high-performance gear for professionals, has been awarded the 2025 Exchange Vendor of the Year Award for Services at the annual Exchange Managers Conference. The award honors U.S. Patriot’s exceptional performance in 2024 and its commitment to innovation and services to the military community.

Operating at 103 stores on Army and Air Force installations worldwide, in partnership with AAFES (Army & Air Force Exchange Service), the company has launched tactical vending machines at three Exchange locations, with more planned for 2025.

“This recognition is a proud moment for our team and a reminder of the impact innovation and collaboration can have when focused on those who serve,” said Josh Sandhaus, Vice President of Operations at U.S. Patriot and a U.S. Army veteran. “As a veteran-led company, this award holds special meaning. Serving the military community isn’t just our mission, it’s personal.”

U.S. Patriots’ participation in this year’s Exchange Managers Conference provided a valuable opportunity to connect with AAFES leadership, share company milestones, and look ahead to further growth. From high-performance gear to enhanced in-store experiences, U.S. Patriot remains focused on supporting service members and their families, on base and beyond.

“Thank you to the entire AAFES team for your ongoing partnership and unwavering commitment to those in uniform,” added Sandhaus. “We look forward to everything we can accomplish together in 2025 and beyond.”
