Sponsors Provide Continued Support to MidwayUSA Foundation, Benefiting Youth Shooting Sports

Columbia, MO – As National Shooting Sports Month comes to a close, MidwayUSA Foundation continues to celebrate outdoor industry sponsors that assist in making their mission possible.   As the leading advocate for youth shooting sports, MidwayUSA Foundation has over $430 million endowed to ensure generations to come have the funding to participate.

A small handful of the committed sponsors include Walker’s Game Ear, GAIM Virtual Shooting Simulator, Sig Sauer, Outdoor Channel, and Redding Reloading Equipment.  These industry leaders have been longstanding sponsors of MidwayUSA Foundation, providing goods and services.  Products are often offered to youth shooting teams to use in their local fundraisers, providing brand exposure in communities throughout the country.  Funds raised with these products are donated to the team’s endowment and are also matched through the Foundation’s annual donation matching program to enhance the impact of the sponsor.

“When companies step up and offer products for our product grant program, youth shooting teams in your local community benefit,” said John Linquist, MidwayUSA Foundation Relationship Manager.  He continued, “Sponsor support allows us to keep costs down, while offering a robust line-up of fundraising products that can work for teams of all sizes and disciplines.”  MidwayUSA Foundation also hosts in-person events that are fundraisers for youth shooting programs.  Sponsors also make these events successful through participation and product donations.

Approximately 2,600 youth shooting teams rely on MidwayUSA Foundation funding to conduct practices, travel to competitions, pay for ammo, and cover other critical expenses that youth shooting teams incur.  The endowment model guarantees the money is available in perpetuity.  In 2025, alone, the Foundation has paid just over $14.2 million in cash grants to support youth shooting sports.  This total includes payouts to teams and organizations, as well as grants for range development projects and coach training.

The MidwayUSA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity working to sustain and grow youth shooting sports by providing long-term funding to youth shooting teams. Every donation made is tax-deductible and allows the Foundation to assist in expanding and enhancing the leadership skills, confidence, and discipline of today’s youth through shooting sports activities. The Foundation supports all shooting disciplines.
