Smith’s Edge Eater Sharpening Stone: Your Ultimate Companion for Precision Cutting and Versatile Functionality

Smith’s Edge Eater Sharpening Stone: Your Ultimate Companion for Precision Cutting and Versatile Functionality

Keeping a workable edge on those everyday tools like axes, machetes, hedge clippers, pruners, garden hoes, and lawn mower blades is extremely difficult at best. These bulky, awkward implements are difficult to manage ― much less sharpen. Often users resort to high-speed grinding wheels in a last-ditch attempt to render these workably sharp. In most instances, this leads to a mangled edge and ruined tool, or worse yet, personal injury.

The Smith’s engineering team realized there had to be a better way and developed their all-new Edge Eater Multi-Purpose Tool Sharpener. The innovative Edge Eater is a hand-held sharpening stone with multiple user-friendly features. The multi-purpose tool sharpener has a coarse grit, circularly shaped stone that is affixed to a sturdy, molded puck-like grip. The grip is designed to keep hands and fingers safely away from the edge that is being worked. Adding to its sharpening safety, a finger groove extends around the circumference of the stone, precluding the stone from slipping while in use, further improving the sharpener’s safety.

The stone’s coarse grit material is long-lasting, and perfect for putting a working edge on tools and implements that are otherwise difficult to sharpen using conventional means. The brightly-colored, yellow puck grip also makes it easy to spot when dropped working out in the field, in the garden, yard, or around the shop.

The compact, 8-ounce Edge Eater Multi-Purpose Tool Sharpener, with an MSRP of $9.99, is priced right, allowing users to keep several in the garage, truck toolbox or garden shed.

EDGE EATER SHARPENING STONE (50910′) AT A GLANCE:

  • Quickly sharpens large implements
  • Coarse grit quickly dispatches big jobs
  • Compact-size stores anywhere
  • Sharpens mower blades, axes, shovels, etc.
  • Puck grip design keeps fingers safe
