SITKA Gear releases first Conservation Impact Report

Comprehensive report details SITKA’s conservation investments and partnerships across the nation.

SITKA Gear, a leading outdoor apparel and gear company, announces the release of its first Conservation Impact Report. The report highlights partnerships across the conservation space as well as a portfolio of grant partners selected for their unique contributions to ecosystem restoration and wildlife conservation.

Through the Ecosystem Grant Program, SITKA Gear implemented a range of initiatives to restore ecosystems, allow for the growth of the hunting experience through access and education, as well as create opportunities for collaborative conservation. The program’s success is attributed to investing in both national conservation efforts as well as key, regional grassroots initiatives. This strategic approach allows SITKA Gear to collaborate with partners at any scale and ensure national conservation efforts are well supported along with the efforts by everyday stewards across the nation.

“We are excited to share the full picture of the work that SITKA has been doing in the conservation space for years, for the first time ever in this report,” said Lindsey Davis, Director of Conservation and Advocacy for SITKA Gear. “SITKA has a unique perspective when it comes to its conservation investments. To design our gear systems, we think in terms of interconnected relationships and create innovative products that enable reconnection to the environment. Our conservation and grants work follows this same detailed thinking, and enables us to fund conservation work from a comprehensive ecosystem perspective. We hope this report shines a bright light on the work of our amazing partners, and look forward to building on our efforts and expanding collaborations across the industry to protect wildlife and their habitats.”

The Conservation Impact Report offers an overview of key areas of investment, highlighting relationships and focus areas, along with educational films that SITKA created to support these projects.
