Shoot United to Host First-Time Shotgun Shooters at Oak Tree Gun Club

Shoot United is excited to announce its upcoming “Intro to Shotgun” event at Oak Tree Gun Club in Newhall, CA. This event aims to introduce newcomers to the exhilarating world of shotgun shooting in a safe and supportive environment.

Date: Saturday, April 20
Time: 9 AM – 1 PM
Location: Oak Tree Gun Club, 23121 Coltrane Ave, Newhall, CA

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, this event is perfect for individuals of all experience levels. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from instructors who prioritize safety and provide expert guidance throughout the day.

“This is a terrific opportunity to offer an introduction to shotgun shooting experience,” said Jason Gilbertson, Director of Marketing for Shoot United. “Shotgun sports are not only exciting but also incredibly accessible. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment for newcomers to learn and enjoy the sport while emphasizing safety and responsibility.”

Kim Rhode, six-time Olympic medalist, is attending the event and participants will have an opportunity to meet the first American to qualify for the Olympic Games in five different continents and the first Olympic shooter to compete in all three shotgun events: Trap, Double-Trap, and Skeet. 

Participants will receive hands-on instruction covering firearm safety, proper handling, stance, aiming, and shooting techniques. Additionally, they’ll have the chance to try their hand at shooting clays under the guidance of instructors.

The event will take place at Oak Tree Gun Club, renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities and commitment to promoting responsible firearm use. With its picturesque surroundings and top-notch amenities, Oak Tree Gun Club provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable day of shotgun shooting.

Registration for the event is open, and spaces are limited. Equipment will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary to participate.
