Shoot Like A Girl to Visit Cabela’s in Fort Worth, Texas

ATHENS, Ala. – February 21, 2025 – SLG2, Inc, the outdoor industry’s leading experiential marketing company, will be making a stop with its Shoot Like A Girl experience at Cabela’s in Fort Worth, Texas after an exciting recent stop in Daytona, Florida. This innovative event offers a welcoming and safe environment designed to introduce women and their families to the exciting world of shooting sports, focusing on safety, responsibility and empowerment.

“We are so excited to be back in the Fort Worth area with our unique shooting experience,” said Karen Butler, President, SLG2, Inc. “Our team of talented instructors will provide a safe and fun experience, while sharing their knowledge and passion for the shooting sports.”

The event will feature Shoot Like A Girl’s state-of-the-art mobile range, where attendees can experience the thrill of shooting under the guidance of certified female instructors. These knowledgeable instructors will provide expert introduction to firearm safety and handling utilizing a FATS by InVeris military-grade simulator that provides immediate recoil, impact and sound feedback. The experience provides a fun, safe and comfortable atmosphere, promoting confidence within shooting sports and encourages people to participate in various outdoor activities.

Attendees at the event are also given an opportunity to visit the Shoot Like A Girl gun bar and side by side compare a variety of their partners’ products; in addition to interacting with product displays and demonstrations of a plethora of products, like the MAGPUL DAKA Grid system, SABRE inert pepper spray and GTM Original handbags. The Shoot Like A Girl experience will be stationed in front of Cabela’s in Fort Worth, Texas on Saturday, March 1 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Women and men of all experience levels, along with their families, are invited to attend this exciting event focused on safety and skill-building.
