BELLEVUE, Wash. — Nov. 12, 2025 — The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) is pleased to announce that 2A Bourbon has joined the organization as the newest Silver-level corporate partner.
“When I decided to start a company that would help raise money to help organizations that stood for the Constitution, I came up with 2A Bourbon as my way to do it,” said Constitutional Spirits owner and 2A Bourbon founder Tim Oates. “Being a lawyer, I understood the courts would be where the battle must be fought and won for our right to bear arms. The Second Amendment Foundation was the first to come to mind, so I reached out to them about my dream, and they embraced it. I am proud to help them as they continue to defend our Second Amendment rights.”
Developed as a way to join bourbon enthusiasts with Second Amendment advocates, 2A Bourbon supports organizations that promote the military, first responders and those who fight for our right to keep and bear arms. A portion of proceeds from every bottle sold is donated to SAF and helps the organization continue its critical work across the country. Beyond the corporate partnership, 2A Bourbon has also sponsored the annual Gun Rights Policy Conference and donates product for special events and giveaways.
“I have been fortunate enough to spend time with Tim and can say he is without a doubt a staunch Second Amendment advocate,” said SAF Executive Director Adam Kraut. “Tim took a passion and turned it into a cause, which helps fuel the mission at SAF. Not only does 2A Bourbon put money behind missions they believe in, they also make a great bourbon that has a home on my shelf.”
