SAF, CCRKBA Hosting 39th Annual Gun Rights Conference in San Diego

The 39th annual Gun Rights Policy Conference, co-hosted by the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA), will be held this weekend, Sept. 27-29, in San Diego.

The theme of this year’s event, which will be held at the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley, is “Empower, Educate and Defend!” Registration is still available online at the SAF website. For those unable to attend, the conference will be livestreamed on multiple virtual platforms including SAF’s YouTube page.

This year’s conference will be attended by hundreds of gun rights advocates and activists, and will feature a veritable “Who’s Who” of leaders in the Second Amendment movement. Nearly 40 speakers will offer presentations on a variety of subjects including legislation, the upcoming campaigns for the 2024 elections, firearms litigation and more.

Already scheduled are such notables as National Review columnist John Fund, SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan Gottlieb, SAF Executive Director Adam Kraut, SAF President Massad Ayoob, plus Mark Smith, Tom Gresham, and representatives and staff from SAF, CCRKBA, NSSF and NRA as well as leaders of state organizations.

Schedule of events:

  • Friday, September 27, 7 – 9 p.m.: Registration / Evening reception
  • Saturday, September 28, 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.: GRPC Conference (Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.)
  • Saturday, September 28, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.: Evening reception
  • Sunday, September 29, 9 a.m. – noon: GRPC conference (Registration opens at 8:45 a.m.)

“The timing and importance of this year’s conference cannot be overstated,” Gottlieb said. “With the national elections just over the horizon and the Second Amendment under constant attack, this weekend’s gathering takes on a special significance. We will hear from some of the best and brightest minds in the gun rights movement at one of the most critical moments in the nation’s history. We’re looking forward to greeting old friends, making new ones and charting a course for the future.”

Sponsors for this year’s GRPC include: SIG SAUER, Kali Key, Silencer Shop, Taurus, Magpul, Lipsey’s and Blackout Coffee.
