Lincoln, Neb.(June 24, 2025) — Registration is now officially open for the 69th Annual Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers (AGLOW) Conference, taking place September 21–25, 2025, at the Metropolis Resort in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Major sponsors for the 2025 AGLOW Conference in Eau Claire include Whitetails Unlimited, Delta Defense, Riton Optics, Pulsar, and NSSF, with more organizations being added weekly.
Located in the heart of west-central Wisconsin, Eau Claire is a prime destination for outdoor enthusiasts and an ideal backdrop for content creators. This year’s conference will offer AGLOW members the opportunity to experience fishing and paddling on the Chippewa River, explore numerous nearby lakes, and participate in shooting and small game outings. In addition to the core agenda, attendees will be able to take part in guided outdoor excursions scheduled before and after the conference, ensuring ample opportunities for gathering rich, authentic content.
A highlight of this year’s event will be the 3rd annual fishing tournament, where members can showcase their skills and enjoy some friendly competition on the water. Another memorable moment will come during AGLOW’s always-popular fundraising auction, which supports the organization’s initiatives, scholarships, and outreach efforts. Educational sessions, interactive panels, and social gatherings will round out the conference, providing valuable learning and relationship-building experiences.
The conference officially begins on Sunday evening with the President’s Welcome Reception, a relaxed and welcoming gathering designed to help members reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. Monday will be filled with opportunities for media members to network with corporate partners and destination representatives, including a lively speed networking session that allows every participant to make meaningful connections. That evening, attendees will enjoy a happy hour, an inspiring keynote address, and late-night hospitality suites featuring live music and camaraderie around the campfire. Tuesday and Wednesday will have seminars and panel discussions led by top industry professionals, craft improvement topics touching on writing, video, photography, and podcasts, and state-of-the-industry topics such as AI and affiliated marketing. A fun arcade night is on the schedule along with the auction, and each night will conclude with complimentary late-night hospitality and networking.
On the final day of the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in various outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting, canoeing, kayaking, and exploring the scenic sites and outdoor culture that Eau Claire has to offer. In the evening, AGLOW will host its signature Golden Glow Awards Reception, which will recognize the outstanding contributions of individual members and partner organizations. The conference will wrap up with the Awards-in-Craft Ceremony, honoring excellence in outdoor media across multiple platforms.
Outdoor media professionals, destination marketing organizations, conservation organizations, and outdoor product companies are encouraged to attend this incredible event and join a welcoming community of passionate outdoor communicators. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the stories, the connections, the opportunities, and the fun that define AGLOW.
