Pulsar to Unveil First True Multispectral Binocular

(MANSFIELD, TEXAS) – Pulsar announces the launch of the Symbion, a multispectral binocular platform that combines full-color digital imaging, thermal imaging, infrared night vision, and a laser rangefinder into a single, handheld optic designed for continuous use from daylight through complete darkness.

Rather than forcing users to carry and manage multiple devices, the Symbion integrates these capabilities into one rugged binocular system. The result is a clear, consistent view of the user’s surroundings across changing light conditions, terrain, and distance.

The Symbion is available in two configurations — Symbion LRF DXT50 and Symbion LRF DXR50 — allowing users to select the model that best fits their terrain and observation requirements.

Built to handle changing light and distance
Field conditions rarely stay consistent. Dense vegetation obscures movement, low light reduces contrast, and distance complicates identification. The Symbion is designed to address those problems by giving the user access to multiple imaging modes in one device, without switching optics or breaking observation.

Key Highlights

  • Full-color 4K digital sensor for exceptional daylight clarity
  • Advanced thermal imaging channel with detection ranges out to 2,300 meters
  • 24/7 digital night vision capability
  • Combined Picture-in-Picture multispectral modes
  • Built-in laser rangefinder accurate to 1,640 yards
  • Two models available: Symbion LRF DXR50 and Symbion LRF DXT50

The Pulsar Symbion LRF binoculars are designed for hunters, tactical professionals, and wildlife observers who demand consistent situational awareness across changing light and environmental conditions. This multispectral platform eliminates the need to carry multiple optics while delivering dependable performance from daylight through complete darkness.

Three Imaging Modes in One Platform
For decades, users have faced a tradeoff: daylight optics for identification, thermal for detection, or night vision for low-light observation. The Symbion LRF removes that compromise.

Built around a premium 4K digital sensor and an advanced thermal imaging channel, the Symbion integrates three complete imaging modes into a single binocular system:

  • Full-color digital imaging for daytime and low-light identification
  • Digital night vision for twilight and nighttime observation
  • Thermal imaging for detecting heat signatures through fog, brush, or darkness

The Symbion does more than switch between modes. Its Picture-in-Picture multispectral capability allows users to view thermal and digital imagery simultaneously, improving confirmation and context. Heat signatures can be tracked while maintaining visual identification, allowing faster and more confident decision-making in the field.

Complete Integration for Field Operations
The Symbion LRF is built around seamless integration of tools commonly carried as separate devices.

Integrated Field Features

  • Built-in Laser Rangefinder
Measures distances up to 1,640 yards with ±1 yard accuracy.
  • Focusable Infrared Illuminator
Extends digital night vision performance when passive light is insufficient.
  • Photo and Video Recording with Audio
Records directly to 64 GB of internal memory with no external cards required.
  • Wireless Connectivity
Supports the Stream Vision 2 mobile app for live viewing, remote control, and file transfer.
  • Optimized Ergonomics
One-handed operation, intuitive graphical interface, and image stabilization for extended handheld use.
  • High-Contrast AMOLED Displays
Dual 1920×1080 AMOLED displays deliver sharp imagery and fast target acquisition.

Two Models for Different Missions
The Symbion LRF family includes two configurations optimized for different observation priorities.

Symbion LRF DXT50
Designed for long-range detection and surveillance, the DXT50 features a 1280×1024 thermal sensor with a 2× base magnification. Its high-resolution thermal imaging excels in wide-area scanning, long-distance observation, and applications where maximum detail is required.

Symbion LRF DXR50
The DXR50 offers a 640×480 thermal sensor with 4× base magnification, providing a balanced blend of detection capability and optical magnification. This configuration is well-suited for predator hunting, perimeter monitoring, and close- to mid-range observation.

Both models share the same digital imaging system, laser rangefinder, lens configuration, multispectral modes, and rugged construction.
