(July 2025) – PROOF Research®, a leader in advanced firearms technology and carbon fiber barrel manufacturing, is proud to announce the hiring of Dave Medige as the new Eastern U.S. Account Manager. Medige brings with him more than three decades of experience in the shooting sports industry, working with some of the most recognized names in firearms and tactical gear.

Prior to joining PROOF Research, Medige held sales leadership roles at SDS Imports, Kimber Mfg., and FN America, where he consistently delivered double-digit growth through strategic dealer development, in-store events, and product education initiatives. His deep knowledge of OEM, wholesale, and retail dynamics—along with a boots-on-the-ground sales philosophy—makes him a valuable addition to the PROOF team.
Throughout his career, Medige has been known for cultivating strong, lasting partnerships with dealers and distributors, leveraging hands-on experience from both the sales floor and the firing line. His passion for firearms and customer success has earned him numerous industry accolades, including multiple Sales Representative of the Year awards.
In his new role, Medige will focus on expanding PROOF’s footprint across the Eastern U.S. and delivering world-class support to dealers and end users alike.
