The next evolution of the Cruise line: 48-volt platform for higher compatibility and connectivity
At the center of the exhibit are the enhanced Cruise models, which continue the modern design language of the Travel family, introduced in 2023. The new 48-volt platform integrates the Cruise motors into Torqeedo’s broad component ecosystem.
A new foldable tiller with high-resolution display ensures greater comfort on the water. With integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the motors connect to the TorqView app, providing users with real-time performance and system data.
“Both models now operate on a more powerful 48-volt platform and are compatible with larger batteries, such as our 5 kWh Power 48 battery. We have also applied a holistic approach to production: up to 95 % of shaft-head components are made from recycled ocean plastic. With the upgraded Cruise motors, we combine comfort and innovation in harmony with nature,” adds Vietmeier.
Travel family expansion: the new Travel Smart Package
With the new Travel XS, Torqeedo introduces the entry-level model in the Travel family at an affordable price. With 700 W of power, it is ideal for smaller dinghies.
In the Travel Smart Package, the motor is paired with the new Travel Battery XS (648 Wh). The Smart Package is expected to be available early 2026.
Intelligent system components for holistic propulsion systems

The new ecosystem enables intelligent control of all components at 400 V or 800 V with power levels up to 400 kW. Its plug-and-play design ensures fast, safe installation and seamless integration into existing systems.
