Based on a carving by award-winning sculptor Chris Schiller, the Scrapper Buck is especially designed to present a fight for hormone-crazed rutting bucks. The designed inferior size and rack represent a young buck encroaching on prime territory.
Flambeau diligently developed the Scrapper Buck with ultra realism by incorporating adjustable ears for alert and sneaking positions. The decoy’s detailed paint scheme matches those of an adolescent buck, providing confidence to mature bucks and encouraging them to investigate.
The included weather-resistant faux tail moves in the slightest breeze, elevating the Scrapper Buck to a new level of realism.
Built for transportation and easy storage, the Scrapper Buck’s legs, head, ears, and antlers nest inside the body cavity. The provided blaze orange carry bag enables convenient transportation in and out of the field while supplying a critical layer of protection and visibility to the hunter.
Threaded, locking lugs on the Scrapper Buck legs equip it for maximum security and stability in the field. Stability is further maximized with holes in the plastic hooves and provided square head stakes that fasten the decoy firmly to the ground. Adding an incorporated peg to the rear leg serves as an anchor for attaching scent pads or wicks. Scent can also be applied to the faux tail for an added level of realism.
