SEVIIN GF Series expands for 2025 to include five all-new spinning reel models

SEVIIN GF Series low-profile baitcasting reels became available last September, delivering a standout combination of extreme castability, reliability, and performance at an angler-friendly retail price.

Today – placing excellence within reach of any angler – SEVIIN announces the expansion of its workmanlike GF Series with five all-new efficient and ultra-durable GF spinning reel models – each meticulously engineered for smooth and satisfying operation, uncompromising performance, hallmark reliability, and unprecedented value.

“Our GF Series exists to provide all anglers with a gateway to SEVIIN performance and reliability,” says SEVIIN Reels Product Manager, Robert Woods. “We have anglers competing at the highest levels of tournament bass fishing with our GF Series baitcasters, proving that you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars to fish a highly tunable, castable, durable, smooth, and reliable reel. At the end of the day, these anglers love the performance, feel, looks, and durability of these reels as much as they love their $120 retail price. That’s the philosophy behind our GF Series, and we’re very excited to bring anglers these same benefits via our all-new GF Series spinning models.”

Introducing All-New GF Series Spinning Reels

With expected availability to anglers as early as September 1, 2024, all-new GF Series spinning reels share common architecture and many features with SEVIIN’s GS and GX Series spinning reels, including the same carbon and stainless-steel drag stacks, gears, S-curve slow-oscillation system for positive line management, and lightweight carbon fiber / polymer bodies, side covers, and rotors. A two-piece stainless-steel bail, smooth 5+1 stainless-steel bearing system, forged and anodized aluminum spool with braid band, and custom-designed aluminum handle with soft-touch paddle further contribute to this new reel’s precise feel and fishability. A sleek carbon-grey and black finish with red anodized accents completes a look that’s carefully curated to compliment the aesthetics of a wide variety of today’s high-performance spinning rods.

“Like other SEVIIN reels, we’ve engineered our new GF spinning reels to outperform their retail price, which is $110,” Woods says. “GF is designed for everything spinning anglers prioritize, including smooth operation, long-lasting reliability, and lightweight construction.”
