Outdoor Stewards Welcomes Justin Baldini and Leland Nichols to Board of Directors

YORK, S.C. – November 10, 2025 – The Outdoor Stewards of Conservation Foundation is proud to announce that firearm industry veterans, Justin Baldini and Leland Nichols, have joined the OSCF board of directors.

Formed in 2021, OSCF is dedicated to increasing participation in and promoting the cultural acceptance of hunting, fishing, trapping and target shooting.

“We’ve experienced tremendous growth over the past few years, but with declining participation, and decreased public support, coupled with continued challenges facing outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen, we can’t afford to slow down,” said Jim Curcuruto, executive director of the Outdoor Stewards of Conservation Foundation. “We’re honored to welcome Justin and Leland to our Board and look forward to learning from their vast experience in the outdoor industry to help advance our mission.”

“I’ve known Jim for more than a decade and watched Outdoor Stewards fill an important role in the nonprofit conservation space over the past few years,” said Baldini. “I’m looking forward to working alongside the team at OSCF to improve the future for our industry, and our way of life.”

Baldini has more than 17 years of experience in the firearms industry, while Nichols’ offers a strong background in management, communications, sales and marketing. Together, the pair make an excellent addition to the OSCF board.

“We are so busy with our daily responsibilities that sometimes we miss some pretty important things happening right in front of us,” said Nichols. “I’m impressed with the work being done by Outdoor Stewards of Conservation Foundation, both out-front, as well as behind the scenes, and I look forward to helping them expand their efforts.”

Outdoor Stewards of Conservation Foundation (OSCF) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that works with all facets of the outdoor industry to improve cultural acceptance of gun ownership, hunting, fishing, trapping and target shooting. We use research-based communications and engagement programs that help recruit the next generation of HATS (Hunters, Anglers, Trappers and Shooters) and promote the positive contributions HATS make to society. To learn more about OSCF programs; “Fill A Bag While Filling Your Tag,” “Come With!,” “Connecting with Conservation,” “Donate A Deer” and the “Outdoor Industry Communication Council,” please visit www.OutdoorStewards.org, follow @OutdoorStewards on Instagram or contact Jim Curcuruto at (203) 450-7202, [email protected]. Keep up with the latest from OSCF on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
