Industry Veteran Adds Sales Oversight To List of Key Responsibilities  

Outdoor Sportsman Group President and CEO Matt Hutchings announced today that Chief Operating Officer Mike Carney will assume management and oversight of the Company’s multimedia sales efforts across television, print, digital, social, MOTV and custom production offerings. A lifelong industry veteran, Carney has held multiple positions in media editorial, sales, sales management, brand marketing and multichannel consumer product sales management in the outdoor arena.

“As a lifelong hunter, shooter and angler, Mike possesses a keen understanding of the marketplace, its history, the consumer drivers and the ongoing evolution of today’s multichannel media offerings” said Hutchings. “His marketing and sales management experience for a leading consumer electronics brand, combined with Mike’s years of editorial and media sales oversight, provides us with the ideal leadership for bringing powerful, creative and effective  solutions forward  to our partners.”
