Outdoor Channel Kicks Off ‘Premiere Week’ with New Series & Returning Favorites During “Taste of the Wild” Block Tonight

15 All-New Episodes, 4 Brand New Series, 1 Spectacular Week

DENVER (September 29, 2025) – Outdoor Channel is serving up new culinary adventures every Monday night during the “Taste of the Wild” block of programming beginning at 7 p.m. ET.  This Monday’s journeys launch during the network’s “Premiere Week,” featuring 15 all-new episodes and four new series wrapped into one spectacular week. With cutting-edge culinary craft influencers, such as Mike Robinson, Pat Martin, Mario Kalpou, Jess Pryles, and more, “Taste of the Wild” promises viewers a unique journey blending the thrill of outdoor adventure with the art of cooking.

Shows included in “Taste of the Wild” block include:

Farming the Wild (Season Seven Premieres Monday, September 29 at 7 p.m. ET) – Farming the Wild celebrates hunting as a way of gathering sustainable wild food. The show educates, informs, and focuses on the food aspect of hunting and gathering. The emphasis is on harvesting wild meat, rather than for sport or pure pleasure.

United Plates (NEW SERIES Premieres Monday, September 29 at 7:30 p.m. ET) – Mario Kalpou of “Man Eats Wild” hits the road in a custom-built RV to hunt, cook, and taste his way through the country’s most iconic dishes. From Texas BBQ pits to Louisiana crawfish boils, Kalpou immerses himself in the rich culinary heritage of America, connecting with locals and uncovering the stories behind each meal.

Our Way of Life (NEW SERIES Premieres Monday, September 29 at 8 p.m. ET) – Alaska Native, Kootink, Heather Douville, documents her tribe’s cultural and hunting practices and knowledge, teaching and instilling these values in future generations through specialty pursuits exclusive to the Tlingit Nation. Heather has inherited the meaning of being a steward to the land: respecting what one takes from the land, giving back to the land, using as much as possible, and sharing with fellow tribe members. These core values define how Heather moves within her landscape of Tlingit Aani, or what is now called Southeast Alaska.  This series will encapsulate the essence of celebrating the land, air, and water. It will share the story of their hunting and pursuit history lost while bringing it back alive and to the forefront.

McMillan (Season Thirteen Premieres Monday, September 29 at 8:30 p.m. ET) – From Hunting Camp, and the Farm and Ranch, the McMillan’s are doing everything country and bringing it all home to the table.

Hardcore Carnivore (Season Two Premieres Monday, September 29 at 9 p.m. ET) – Jess Pryles is a Hardcore Carnivore and she’s traveling the country, where she’ll meet up with locals specializing in her favorite proteins. From dove hunting in Texas to harvesting Bison in Wisconsin and the delicious meals that she teaches us how to cook, it’s an epic meat-eating adventure like no other.

Cast Iron Cowboy (NEW SERIES Premieres Monday, September 29 at 9:30 p.m. ET) – Hosted by cowboy cook Kent Rollins and his wife Shannon with their 1876 Studebaker chuck wagon in tow, the series takes viewers on a journey to some of the most authentic cowboy ranches across America.
