Lipsey’s Bolsters Commitment to Suppressor Advocacy with ,000 ASA Sponsorship

Baton Rouge, LA – The American Suppressor Association (ASA) is proud to announce that Lipsey’s has increased its support of suppressor rights with a $20,000 sponsorship of ASA for 2025. As one of the nation’s leading firearms distributors, Lipsey’s has a long-standing reputation for industry leadership and a deep commitment to advancing suppressor rights and expanding access for law-abiding citizens.

“Our team at Lipsey’s believes strongly in the Second Amendment, and that includes the right to own and use suppressors,” said Laurie Lipsey Aronson, CEO and Chairwoman of Lipsey’s. “Suppressors are important tools for safety and hearing protection, and we’re proud to stand with the ASA and increase our support to help expand suppressor rights across the country.”

“[WE BELIEVE] STRONGLY IN THE SECOND
AMENDMENT, [INCLUDING] THE RIGHT
TO OWN AND USE SUPPRESSORS,”

— Laurie Lipsey Aronson, CEO and Chairwoman of Lipsey’s

Founded in 1953, Lipsey’s has grown from a small wholesale hunting and fishing distributor into one of the nation’s largest independently owned firearms distributors. Lipsey’s is known for its deep-rooted commitment to its dealer network, never losing sight of the small dealers that brought them to where they are today. Their investment in suppressor advocacy through ASA reflects the company’s continued leadership and dedication to preserving the rights of law-abiding citizens across the country.

“Lipsey’s has been a long-time, integral partner in the fight to protect and expand suppressor rights,” said Knox Williams, Executive Director of ASA. “Their decision to increase their sponsorship this year underscores their commitment to advancing our mission. With their support, we’re one step closer to making streamlined suppressor ownership a reality for all law-abiding Americans.”

ABOUT THE AMERICAN SUPPRESSOR ASSOCIATION

Founded in 2011, the American Suppressor Association has been instrumental in promoting the rights of suppressor owners nationwide, advocating for legal reform, and educating the public about the benefits of suppressors.  ASA’s successful campaigns have resulted in the legalization of suppressors in three states, the use of suppressors while hunting in 19 states, the defeat of numerous attempts to impose state level bans, and the dramatic improvements to NFA transfer times.
