SEVIIN to introduce all-new GW Series Saltwater Spinning Reels in Orlando

PARK FALLS, WIS. (July 2, 2025) – Saltwater anglers need smooth, powerful, and reliable reels to win the battle with hard-charging fish. Reels that check these boxes while adding exceptional value and protection from the sea’s corrosive elements will definitely stop and turn heads – not just those of saltwater anglers, but also those of the fish they obsess over.

Introducing all-new SEVIIN GW Series saltwater spinning reels for 2026 – reels that prioritize smooth and reliable operation, power, corrosion resistance, and value. Five versatile sizes are available – 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000, and 6000 – at angler-friendly retail prices ranging from just $130 to $160.

IPX5 WATER-RESISTANT DESIGN
GW’s engineering and overall IPX5 rating deliver peace-of-mind – both on the water and during wash downs at the dock. Gaskets and seals located at critical points on the body and spool keep GW’s gearbox and drag system saltwater free, ensuring GW reels are always in top shape and battle-ready.

CORROSION-RESISTANT ALUMINUM CONSTRUCTION
Look good and perform even better. Strong GW reel bodies and side covers are precision die-cast from a special corrosion-resistant aluminum, then anodized and painted in a multi-step process for maximum protection against saltwater damage.

RIGID ROTOR DESIGN
Rotor materials and designs are optimized by model to eliminate flex and maximize performance. 2500, 3000, and 4000 models feature strong and lightweight carbon polymer rotors, while 5000 and 6000 rotors are die-cast aluminum to withstand the forces of heavier drag settings with heavier lines.

SEALED CARBON FIBER / ALUMINUM DRAG
Designed for a smooth and reliable angler experience from startup to lockdown, GW’s drag stack is sealed to prevent performance-robbing saltwater intrusion. Multiple carbon fiber and aluminum washers are nearly impervious to wear and deliver extreme stopping power with maximum adjustability and heat dissipation.
