Hydra Weaponry will exhibit at the SHOT Show® in Las Vegas, Jan. 21 – 24, 2025, at the Venetian Expo & Caesars Forum at Booth 41918. Maine’s largest firearms manufacturer will showcase the Hydra Modular Weapon system, which is the rifle system industry icon leader Mack Gwinn, Jr. said was the rifle he wished he had during the Vietnam conflict.
Hampden, Maine (January 2025) – Hydra Weaponry, Maine’s largest firearms employer, designers, and manufacturers of the truly modular MARCK-15 Hydra® Weapon System, return to the 2025 SHOT Show®, held at the Venetian Expo & Caesars Forum, in Las Vegas, Jan. 21 – 24, 2025, at booth 41918 to showcase the only rifle system that offers customers four major benefits over other rifle platforms: the Hydra MARCK-15 Modular rifle system.
The company manufactures pistols and rifles, complete uppers and lowers, barrel assemblies, interchangeable magazine wells, conversion kits, accessories, and more. The MARCK-15 rifle platform system is American-made in Hydra’s new 22,000-square-foot facility in Maine. What sets the system apart from any imitators is the ease of caliber changes via the exchange of just a barrel, or magwell, or bolt, barrel, and magwell. In addition to offering the AR15 platform, Hydra also offers the Hydra 10, an AR10-style rifle in .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor.
Also showing at Hydra Booth 41918 will be the Vipera pistol, the little sister to the MARCK-15, but with an attitude! Just as versatile as its big brother rifle platform, this pistol variant can be optimized through any caliber conversion while still maintaining its CQB profile.
The piston-driven, BMP23 pistol, will also make its 2025 debut. A concept originally designed by Mack Gwinn Jr., the forefather of today’s BMP, which became the legendary Bushmaster pistol. The new BMP23 in 5.56 removes any of the former issues the original demonstrated, resulting in a retro-modeled, future-driven performance pistol.
Included in the exhibition lineup at the Hydra Booth 41918, besides the rifles and pistols, will be the Hydra Survival Package (4 Caliber Kit), the Hydra MARCK-15 AK 7.62×39 rifle, the California Compliant 5.56 rifle with fixed magazine, and the new Hydra-15 Suami 9mm drum magazine.
