Hunting Matters Podcast Welcomes Kevin Comiskey, Past President of Houston Safari Club Foundation and Industry Leader

HOUSTON, TX – March 31, 2026 — In the latest episode of Hunting Matters, the official podcast of the Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF), we are pleased to feature Kevin Comiskey, Senior Vice President and Partner at Brady, Chapman, Holland & Associates (BCH) and Past President of the Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF), in an engaging new episode that explores leadership, conservation, and a lifelong connection to the outdoors.

A third-generation professional in the commercial insurance industry, Comiskey brings more than 25 years of experience with BCH, where he has built a reputation for trusted counsel and long-term client relationships. His career path, however, has been anything but linear—spanning roles in industrial linen services, Budweiser beer distribution, and railroad tank car sales and leasing before ultimately returning to Houston and the insurance industry.

In this episode, Comiskey shares insights from his early years growing up in Houston, his time attending Colorado State University, and his professional experiences across Colorado, Wyoming, and South Dakota. He reflects on how those formative years shaped his approach to business, leadership, and service.

A Life Member of HSCF and member since 2006, Comiskey discusses his tenure as HSCF President and the organization’s ongoing mission to preserve the sport of hunting through education, conservation, and the promotion of hunting heritage. He also highlights his continued leadership in the conservation space through his role on the Executive Committee of the Texas Wildlife Association and as Convention Chairman.

Beyond HSCF, Comiskey’s commitment to service is evident through his longstanding involvement with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, where he has served on the Breeders Greeters Committee (including as Past Vice Chairman) and the Grand Entry Committee.

Listeners will also hear a more personal side of Comiskey, as he discusses his passion for hunting, time spent with family at the Rocking C South Ranch in Cotulla, Texas, and the values he hopes to pass on to his three sons.

This episode of Hunting Matters offers a compelling look at the intersection of professional success, volunteer leadership, and a deep-rooted commitment to conservation and hunting heritage.
