The new for 2025 XB30 Zoom FFP 2-8×36 is the first crossbow scope from Hawke to deliver the accuracy of FFP matched with multiple reticle options that do not change across the entire magnification spectrum. The Hawke XB30 Zoom FFP is unlike any other crossbow scope in that you can quickly zoom out for a clear bright image for close-range shots and zoom in for a tighter image for long-range shots, and your yardage holdovers always remain exactly the same. Rifle shooters have known about this first focal plane reticle advantage, but it is something completely new for crossbow scopes and creates a huge advantage. The 2-8×36 XB30 Zoom FFP reticles were designed specifically for First Focal Plane optical systems based on the ballistics of the crossbow you use. The reticle and scope are available in three options based on your crossbow speed: 380-420 fps, 425-465 fps, or 470-510 fps.
The XB30 Zoom FFP reticle has illuminated central aimpoints for better accuracy for hunting during the “magic hour” with low-light conditions. It has a horseshoe-shaped reticle for fast target acquisition when hunting. You will see engraved distance markers alongside the aimpoints to give you a better idea of range and aim especially as the distances expand for longer shots. Being an FFP optical system, the reticle gets larger as magnification increases. Because of this, the engraved distance aimpoints remain true through all magnification settings. The reticles have selectable red/green illumination with multiple power settings for brightness.
The 2-8×36 XB30 Zoom FFP is built with a 30mm monotube chassis, with ½ MOA low-profile fingertip-adjustable turrets, and fixed parallax at 50 yards. The scope uses Hawke’s System S7 premium optics with 16-layer, fully-multi coated lenses for crystal clear vision. The scope has removable zoom throw levers in both standard and XL sizing that work with a fast-focus eyebell. It comes with flip-up lens covers, too. As you would expect, each scope is nitrogen-purged, shockproof, waterproof, and fogproof, and carries Hawke’s legendary Lifetime Warranty, so it can handle whatever you throw at it while giving you the peace of mind of knowing it is backed by the best warranty in the business.
