Flambeau® Boss Buck & Boss Babe Deer Decoys: Create Ultra Realism and Entice Mature Bucks Into Range

Middlefield, OH (September 18, 2025) – Flambeau’s Boss Buck & Boss Bade decoys are designed to stop cruising bucks in their tracks, ensure they close the distance, and investigate the intruder on their home turf.

Based on a carving by award-winning sculptor Chris Schiller, the Boss Buck & Boss Babe decoys are especially designed to present a fight for hormone-crazed rutting bucks. The Boss Buck’s purposely designed mature size and rack represent a mature buck encroaching on prime territory. The Boss Babe Doe decoy offers hunters an ultra-realistic doe decoy that can’t be ignored by even the warriest bruiser buck when the rut is on.

Flambeau diligently developed the Boss Buck and Boss Babe whitetail deer decoys with ultra-realism by incorporating adjustable ears for alert or sneaking positions. The decoy’s detailed paint scheme closely matches natural deer markings, providing confidence to mature bucks and encouraging them to investigate.

Built for transportation and easy storage, the Boss Buck’s and Boss Babe’s legs, head, ears, and, in the buck’s case, antlers nest inside the body cavity. Threaded, locking lugs on the decoy legs equip them for maximum security and stability in the field. Stability is further maximized with holes in the plastic hooves, and the provided square-head stakes ensure the decoy is firmly fastened to the ground.

Run these decoys individually or as a breeding pair, depending on the situation and the rut phase. The Boss Babe can even be situated in a bedded position by leaving the legs off. Play the wind and present cruising bucks with a variety of situations when they happen onto the Boss Deer Decoy setup, from a buck tending a bedded doe, to a lone doe looking for love, or an intruding mature buck trespassing on established turf.

When the rut gets cooking this fall, hunters have an advantage with the Boss Buck & Boss Babe decoy series by Flambeau® in their inventory. The ultra realism and carefully designed size and posture will entice mature bucks to investigate.
