Tune-in Mondays Beginning at 7 p.m. ET for New Episodes from “MeatEater,” “Hardcore Carnivore” and More

DENVER (September 18, 2024) – Explore new voices and fresh flavors on Outdoor Channel during the “Taste of the Wild” block of programming Monday nights beginning at 7 p.m. ET.  Tune in for cutting edge culinary craft influencers, such as Mike Robinson, Yia Vang, Steven Rinella, Andrew Zimmern and more, as they showcase their unique style of hunting, butchering and cooking.

“Taste of the Wild” is part of year-long celebration as Outdoor Channel celebrates its 30th Anniversary in 2024. For three decades, Outdoor Channel has been at the forefront of delivering premier outdoor programming, appealing to the outdoor audiences with its diverse and engaging content – including continually seeking shows that not only delight the mind, but the senses as well.

Featuring a lineup of renowned wild fish and game chefs, “Taste of the Wild” savors the finer things in life: to hunt, to fish and to eat. Each show promises viewers a unique journey blending the thrill of outdoor adventure with the art of cooking.

Shows included in “Taste of the Wild” block include:

Farming the Wild (New Season Premieres Monday, September 23 at 7 p.m. ET) – Farming the Wild celebrates hunting as a way of gathering sustainable wild food. The show educates, informs, and focuses on the food aspect of hunting and gathering. The emphasis is on harvesting wild meat, rather than for sport or pure pleasure.

Feral (New Season Premieres Monday, September 23 at 7:30 p.m. ET) – There are thousands of feral animal species around the world – and most of them are delicious. From wild hog hunting to silver carp fishing, adventure-loving culinary explorer Yia Vang is ready to chase, kill, cook, and eat all the crazy creatures that have overstayed their welcome.

MeatEater (New Season Premieres Monday, September 23 at 8 p.m. ET) – Hunter, author, cook and conservationist Steven Rinella treks into the world’s most remote, beautiful regions, bringing game meat from field to table.

McMillan (New Season Premieres Monday, September 23 at 8:30 p.m. ET) – From Hunting Camp, and the Farm and Ranch, the McMillan’s are doing everything country and bringing it all home to the table.

Andrew Zimmern’s Field to Fire (New Series Premieres Monday, September 23 at 9 p.m. ET) – In Field to Fire, iconic chef Andrew Zimmern is heading out to some of the best fishing and hunting spots in the country, then bringing the spoils back to his Wild Game Kitchen to create some truly incredible dishes over an open flame.

Hardcore Carnivore (New Series Premieres Monday, September 23 at 9:30 p.m. ET) – Jess Pryles is a Hardcore Carnivore and she’s traveling the country, where she’ll meet up with locals specializing in her favorite proteins. From dove hunting in Texas to harvesting Bison in Wisconsin and the delicious meals that she teaches us how to cook, it’s an epic meat-eating adventure like no other.
