Memphis, TN – Ducks Unlimited announced today that it has renewed its National Sponsorship with the USA Clay Target League. As a National Sponsor, Ducks Unlimited is one of a select group of organizations that work with the League to advance the organizations mission to provide youth clay target shooting sports to nearly 2,000 high schools and colleges across America. The two organizations have been partnered since 2021.
“Supporting the League means supporting the future – period. They have defied the industry and convention with their programs, and as a result the USA Clay Target League is the proven leader in this area.” Justin Aycock, Ducks Unlimited Manager of Youth Engagement Programs, said. “DU is committed to helping youth shooting sports, not only though our contributions to the League but through our Team Resource Assistance Program (T.R.A.P)”
“T.R.A.P is designed to provide an effective way for teams to fundraise without red tape, restrictions, hidden costs, or hamstringing. Teams need money now, not promises for the future, and nobody knows better what the teams need than the teams themselves.”
“The League is thrilled to continue working with Ducks Unlimited,” said USA Clay Target League President John Nelson. “DU continues to be visionary in its approach to conservation and the future of America’s outdoor sports heritage, and there are tens of thousands of families that benefit from the dedication and generosity of Ducks Unlimited and their membership.”
Over 55,000 high school and college students registered to participate in USA Clay Target League programs in 2025. Those students participated on nearly 2,000 teams and were mentored by over 11,500 coaches and team staff. More information about the USA Clay Target League can be found in their recently-released 2025 Impact Report.

About the USA Clay Target League
The League is the only 100% school-approved clay target shooting sport program in America and the League’s co-ed and adaptive nature are key attractions to schools nationwide. The League is fully Title IX compliant with both male and female athletes competing on the same team. Additionally, it’s an ‘adaptive’ sport, which allows students with physical disabilities to take part.
The League’s priorities are safety, fun, and marksmanship – in that order.
The League is the safest sport in school, with not one reported injury since the inception of the League in 2001. Each athlete must complete firearm safety certification before participation.
