CAMP PERRY, Ohio – The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) has announced a condensed schedule for the 2025 National Mid and Long Range series, though still offering the same full list of enticing matches held in recent years!
The National Mid and Long Range series will be fired Aug. 4-9, 2025, as part of the CMP’s annual National Matches held at Camp Perry, Ohio. Open to competitors of any experience level, the schedule of events features individual and team competitions on Camp Perry’s Viale Range, fired completely on outdoor electronic targets at 600 and 1,000 yards.
“Since we will again be utilizing our outdoor electronic target line for all Long Range events, as we were able to do successfully last year, we decided that we should fit more matches into a single day which, in turn, condenses the schedule a bit,” said Sara Rozanski, CMP highpower rifle coordinator.
The new schedule moves from six days of Long Range events to just five and also allows for two days of Mid-Range matches instead of only one. Additionally, a Long Range two-person team match will be fired alongside the four-person team event.
Each competition includes Match Rifle, Service Rifle, Palma, F-Open, F T/R or AR Tactical categories.
Events and courses of fire at the 2025 National Mid/Long Range Matches:
- Mid-Range 3×600 – 20 shots slow prone at 600 yards in 22-minute block times at 600 yards
