Blaser USA and MidwayUSA Foundation Team Up for Youth Shooting Sports

Columbia, MO – The only thing better than industry support is industry collaboration!  Working together propels our industry and makes it stronger for generations to come. Blaser USA and MidwayUSA Foundation recently teamed up to host a unique fundraiser for youth shooting sports. A group of attendees traveled to Boerne, TX, to the beautiful Joshua Creek Ranch for hands-on shotgun training from Blaser USA pro-staff Cory Kruse. Attendee registrations and a generous Blaser purchase program generated donations to youth shooting team endowments that MidwayUSA Foundation matched to provide nearly $100,000 for youth shooting sports!

“The Blaser USA event in Texas with Cory Kruse was a great learning experience. We have had an endowment with MidwayUSA Foundation for eleven years, and they never cease to amaze us with ways to add money to our account,” said attendee Dale Barnick, Coach of the Kanabec County Clay Busters in Minnesota. Not only did this event provide financial support for young shooting athletes, but the top-notch training attendees received will be passed on to shooting team athletes.
The collaboration of industry leaders trained multiple coaches, which will ultimately provide young people, now and in the future, the resources and support they need to enhance leadership skills, confidence, and discipline…creating community citizens that make us all proud. “We appreciate the industry stepping up to help us change the future of youth shooting sports,” said John Linquist of MidwayUSA Foundation. “Partnerships, like those involved with this event, are key to growing our industry while securing new advocates for youth shooting sports programs.”

In addition to Blaser USA and Joshua Creek Ranch’s hospitality, other sponsors made this experience special. Federal Premium Ammunition provided all the ammo for the event, and Walker’s offered eye and ear protection to each attendee. MidwayUSA Foundation hosts several events throughout the year to benefit youth shooting programs, and you can learn more about upcoming events on their website.  https://www.midwayusafoundation.org/events/

MidwayUSA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity that works to sustain and grow youth shooting sports by providing long-term funding to youth shooting teams. Every donation is tax-deductible and allows the Foundation to assist in expanding and enhancing the leadership skills, confidence, and discipline of today’s youth through shooting sports activities. The Foundation supports all shooting disciplines.
