“Backwoods Life” Continues on Sportsman Channel with Real Hunts & True Stories

DENVER (August 12, 2025) – Backwoods Life, one of the most beloved outdoor television series, continues its legacy this season on the Sportsman Channel every Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET. Hosted by Michael Lee and Kevin Knighton, the show captivates audiences with its authentic portrayal of hunting adventures.

Since its debut in 2004, Backwoods Life has connected with audiences by showing what it’s like for everyday hunters striving to fill their tags and freezers. Combining thrilling moments in the field with heartfelt, personal insights into their lives, Lee and Knighton bring an unmatched authenticity to outdoor television.

Both hosts have their roots firmly planted in the outdoors. Lee, raised near Georgia’s Flint River, grew up honing his skills with the guidance of his father and grandfathers. Meanwhile, Knighton’s expertise was shaped in the backwoods of rural Florida, where he learned to hunt the swamps with his family. Over the years, their commitment to genuine experiences and remarkable storytelling has made Backwoods Life a fan favorite.

What truly sets the series apart is its dedication to showcasing what everyday hunters experience. The show provides an unfiltered look at the challenges, triumphs, and camaraderie that define outdoor adventures. Through their platform, the duo inspire others not only to pursue their passion for hunting but also to cherish the memories made along the way.

Tune in to Sportsman Channel of Backwoods Life airing Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET for the latest season and be part of the continuing adventure.
