Let’s start with the all-new knife. Don’t be fooled by its ethereal name: the Dawnstar is pretty aggro-looking piece of hardware. The 3.5-inch blade is an assertive, dramatic hawkbill shape, made from 8Cr13MoV and sporting a blackwash finish. Like the blade, the ergos are modern, tactical-y, and blacked out. The GFN scales are textured and chamfered, and describe a undulating shape with a flared out butt end. The deep carry pocket clip can be reversed to either side and, in total, the Dawnstar weighs 3.4 oz.

There is also a carbon fiber BelAir, and a Blackout Mini Iridium. Like sister company ZT, Kershaw has been a bit quiet lately.
