Moscow Claims To Be Recruiting 1,000 Soldiers Per Day To War Cause

Moscow Claims To Be Recruiting 1,000 Soldiers Per Day To War Cause

The Russian Defense Ministry is claiming to recruit 1,00 soldiers per day for war service. That amounts to 200,000 people just this year.

The Defense Ministry in Moscow has said that the average recruitment rate is “about 1,000 people per day,” in a post on Telegram on Thursday. Russia has conducted a wide-scale recruitment campaign since launching its military operation in Ukraine in February 2022. Last month, President Vladimir Putin said around 700,000 troops are currently deployed in the conflict zone.

Russia: The U.S. Has Made A “Direct Threat” To Moscow

With all of this manpower, Russia has continued to refrain from retaliating against the West for its ongoing transgressions.

In recent months, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and Western media have claimed that Russia is planning a second wave of mobilization. The first took place in September 2022, when Moscow announced plans to call up 300,000 additional soldiers.

The United States, Germany, and Ukraine have also all been ramping up conscription efforts, but have been less successful.

Mandatory Conscription: The U.S. & Germany Prepare For War With Russia

The Ukrainian army, meanwhile, has been struggling to replenish its ranks after a failed 2023 counteroffensive and intense fighting in Donbass. In April, Kiev lowered the conscription age from 27 to 25, gave more powers to enlistment officers, and increased the penalties for draft dodgers. Ukrainian officials have also complained that delays in the deliveries of Western weapons have led to more casualties. –RT

According to Putin, Russian forces have liberated 47 settlements and over 880 square kilometers of land since the beginning of the year, “gradually pushing the enemy out of Donbas.”

Last month, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that additional conscription efforts would not be necessary in addition to the regular draft.

Slave State Intensifies: Conscription In Ukraine Prompts Fear

This news comes as more and more evidence surfaces that Ukraine is bombing innocents as a part of its war efforts.

Five children in a Russian town near the border with Ukraine were injured when a Ukrainian drone dropped an explosive on the courtyard where they were playing, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Thursday. Not long ago, Russia made a so far empty threat to the U.S. over the missile strike on Sevastopol that killed at least two children.

Another Empty Threat? Russia Tells U.S. It Will Retaliate Over Sevastopol Missile Strike

Is the war ramping up? Are these just games of the ruling class? Is this just a psychological operation against the slave class? Why does Russia continue to issue threats it obviously has no intention of following through with?
