Hayman Safe Company Announces the Ozark Entry Level Safes

High-quality and durable firearms safes represent a significant investment for gun owners. Understanding that discerning gun owners do not want to spend good money on lower-tier, box store safes yet may struggle to justify a large premium safe, Hayman Safe Company developed the Ozark-series safes.

Built to Hayman Safe’s uncompromising material and construction standards, the Ozark series delivers premium protection from forced entry and fire but does so at a more affordable, entry-level price point. What’s more, these safes are sized for easy repositioning and relocation for those who are limited in storage space or are not yet settled in more permanent housing.

The Ozark safes are offered in two sizes and interior configurations. Both feature a 3/16-inch steel plate door with a 1-inch total door thickness. The safe’s body also boasts 1-inch thickness and is made from premium 14-gauge black powdercoated steel. Fire protection is rated for 30-minutes of content protection at 1200°F.

Entry security comes courtesy of a three-way active bolt work that includes eight 1-inch locking bolts to maximize resistance to forced entry while a stylish and robust 3-spoke chrome handle allows for smooth locking bolt operation. Both safes utilize a programmable digital lock system with a relocker in the event the lock is attacked. A hardplate is also added to further protect the lock and relocker from a direct attack.

Inside, the Ozark safes offer ample storage for long guns, handguns, and other essentials. The smaller model (#OZ 5518 E) can accommodate 11 long guns in the vertical rack position while the larger #OZ 5924 E model can fit up to 20 long guns. Each model comes with its own shelving configuration and a back-of-door pocket organizer that can secure handguns, magazines, or other smaller items.
