Steve Buscemi attacked is part of a troubling rise in unprovoked attacks across the city, causing widespread concern among residents and visitors alike. According to a witness, the actor was walking with a woman when he was hit and fell. The attacker remains at large, with the NYPD circulating surveillance images in hopes of capturing the suspect described as a bearded man in a baseball cap and casual wear.

This incident underscores a growing unease in New York City. The attack not only highlights the unpredictable nature of street violence but also casts a shadow over the safety of public figures and ordinary citizens alike.
