Actor Steve Buscemi Attacked in Broad Daylight in Manhattan

NEW YORK, NY (2 minute read) – A disturbing incident occurred involving Steve Buscemi, a respected actor and Brooklyn native, who was assaulted during a morning walk in Manhattan’s Kips Bay neighborhood. At approximately 11:48 a.m. on Wednesday, in front of 369 Third Avenue, an unidentified assailant struck Buscemi, resulting in facial and eye injuries. The actor was promptly taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment.

    Steve Buscemi attacked is part of a troubling rise in unprovoked attacks across the city, causing widespread concern among residents and visitors alike. According to a witness, the actor was walking with a woman when he was hit and fell. The attacker remains at large, with the NYPD circulating surveillance images in hopes of capturing the suspect described as a bearded man in a baseball cap and casual wear.

    This incident underscores a growing unease in New York City. The attack not only highlights the unpredictable nature of street violence but also casts a shadow over the safety of public figures and ordinary citizens alike.
