Although the original model was only available in red, the company recently released a green version for better visibility.
The Viridian Weapon Tech E-Series Green Laser for TaurusTX 22
Featuring a high-strength thermo-molded polymer construction, the E-Series is ready for any conditions. Designed to attach directly to the front of the trigger guard, the laser ships with the necessary tools to install it yourself at home. Once installed, the slim, lightweight aiming device adds little weight or undo bulk to your pistol.
Now available with a green laser, the E-Series operates on a single 1/3N battery for 60 minutes of constant-on operation. Likewise, an auto-off feature powers the laser down after 5 minutes of inactivity, to preserve battery life. Additionally, ambidextrous controls provide easy actuation for both right- and left-handed shooters.
Adjustable for windage and elevation, the green laser has a visibility range of 100 yards in daylight and 2 miles at night. This is in contrast to the red laser, which is visible at 25 yards in daylight and 1 mile at night. Studies have also shown that green lasers are easier for the human eye to pick up.
Viridian has increased its warranty to a limited lifetime warranty for both red and green models. So, you can carry with confidence that the company backs up its claims of durability.
