Intruder’s Last Experience: Being Shot To Death By Armed Homeowner During Attempted Break-In

EGELSTON TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN — In the early hours on Monday, an incident unfolded where a homeowner shot and killed an intruder. The sequence of events began when a 38-year-old individual started causing a disturbance by banging on a window at a residence located on Chatterson Rd, just north of Apple Ave, around 2 a.m.

According to deputies from Muskegon County, the situation escalated when the man forcefully entered an apartment that was part of the same building and attacked someone inside. Following this assault, he attempted to break into the main area of the house, prompting the homeowner to take decisive action.

The intruder was shot and subsequently succumbed to the injuries sustained.
